Langs Recruitment Campaign
Langs Bus Lines Limited
It all began in March of 2011 Link Advertising was approached by Kevin Langs of Langs Bus Lines Limited. He shared a story with us… Langs had been awarded a major government contract, and as such, has to hire over 130 bus drivers in London and surrounding area. What a story.

SITUATION:
The Langs Bus Lines Limited team needs to grow by over 130 drivers. These drivers must exemplify dedication, responsibility and a community-focused attitude… and we were hired to help find them.

SOLUTION:
An integrated recruitment campaign focused on driving recruitment in-person, online and by phone.
"Are you Community Driven?"
The target market is males and females aged 35-60, in London, Ontario. However, this is not meant to attract "job seekers", rather we are looking for community minded individuals, who have some spare time they would like to spend doing something positive in their community. This mentality, and message, carried through the rest of the materials developed. Our team integrated online and offline materials together seamlessly to attract people to a job they will love.

RESULTS:
This is just the beginning in a year of growth for Langs Bus Lines, but with the right marketing and communications in place, it promises to be a very successful one.
We will provide a follow up to this article post-campaign to reflect on how the campaign faired, and where the most success was achieved. We are all confident this campaign will be a resounding success… just look for all the new Langs buses on the roads next school year!
